Please note that an outage duration is an estimation and restoration could be delayed due to the complex nature of the high voltage infrastructure work.
Our teams will work as quickly as possible to complete the work within the communicated times.
Should the power not be restored within the communicated timeframe, residents are advised to check the City’s official communication channels, including the City’s social media channels, or contact the Call Centre before logging a service request in relation to the planned upgrade work.
Please switch off appliances and inverters ahead of the power being restored to reduce the chance of system overload and tripping.
The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the interruption. Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution and to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.
